This is the place where our favorite echidna was born! On February 2, 1994, Sonic 3 came out on Genesis (Megadrive) introducing to the world Knuckles the Echidna, who forever changed Sonic's world. Knuckles is truly independent and owes loyalty to no one. His duty is to guard the Master Emerald of the Floating Island and Knuckles will beat up Robotnik and/or Sonic to do his job.
